Healing Trauma With Holding Space Counseling

Being human is hard. Not only can it be hard, but for many individuals, being seen, heard, and understood is missing from their life experiences. I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, frustrated, confused, to live with unresolved trauma, and how this existence can impact your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

I choose counseling as a way to serve others because I have experienced my own chronic and complex trauma. I provide gentle guidance to individuals actively living in their trauma, experiencing daily anxiety, cPTSD, mood disorders, and neurodivergent humans (ADHD, OCD, Highly Sensitive People, empaths, clairvoyance) wanting to heal from ableism. There is hope. As your trauma heals and you are able to integrate its complexities, you will have more sense of your authentic self.

My hope is to build rapport based on trust, connection, and healing in a compassionate and nonjudgmental space. I received my master's at Northwest Nazarene University (a secular designed program) with additional training in grief, trauma, and crisis. I am deeply connected to nature and animals. I believe healing comes as we realize we are more than just a drop of water in the ocean; we are the ocean.

I truly believe talk therapy is only one component of your healing journey. Therapy becomes more impactful as you incorporate additional techniques and create a great support system and a true belief that you matter in this world. I look forward to hearing more about your story and collaborating with you as you begin your healing journey.
